Place, date & tickets

The 2027 European Championship will take place at the beautiful Scheldetheater in Terneuzen (Westkolkstraat 16, 4531 AW Terneuzen) on Friday 9, Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 July 2027.

• Friday 9 July: Ballet and Jazz & Showdance

• Saturday 10 July: Modern & Contemporary

• Sunday 11 July: Street Dance

Tickets

Spectator tickets can be purchased at the venue or online in advance via this link.

Online ticket sales will open one week before the competition. After completing your purchase, you will receive your tickets by email. On the day of the competition, your ticket can be scanned at the box office, where you will receive your admission wristband.

Tickets purchased at the box office on the day itself can only be paid for in cash. Bancontact and Payconiq are not available.

Participation

You can only participate in the European Championship if you have been selected through participation in the National Championship and have confirmed your participation on time.

Info about the stage

• Measurements: 14m wide and 14m long.

• Floor: The stage floor exists of black painted parquet covered with black ballet floor.

Access for disabled people

There are a couple of seats available for wheelchairs. Please contact us prior to the competition.

Public transport & Parking

Scheldetheater is only a 200m walk away from the bus stop "Terneuzen, De Westkant". You can park at the surrounding parkings.

Timetable

A couple of weeks prior to the competition, there will be a temporary time schedule available on the website. This temporary time schedule can still change as the inscriptions are still open. The final time schedule will be available at latest 5 days prior to the competition on the website. The timetable mentions the times the dancers need to be ready to go on stage. You can find on your subscription confirmation in which age division and style you participate.

For solos, duos & trios there is a dressing room available half an hour up front, for groups an hour up front. If you arrive earlier, please wait until the dressing room is free and also leave the dressing room in time for the next dancers.

There are multiple award ceremonies during the day so that the dancers can go home if they are not able to stay the whole day.
