Place, date & tickets

The German Championship 2027 will take place on Sunday, May 30, 2027, at the Stadthalle Hofheim in Hofheim am Taunus (Hesse).

Participation

You can only participate in the German Championship if you are selected through participation in the qualifying competitions. The more qualifying competitions you enter, the greater your chance of being selected for the championship. The points from your best three qualifying competitions will count towards the selection.

Food & Drinks

The venue will operate its own bar and catering service throughout the day. Food and drinks can be purchased on-site.

Please note that eating and drinking inside the theatre hall is not permitted.

• The stage is 11m wide and 10m deep.

Access for disabled people

There are a couple of seats available for wheelchairs. Please contact us prior to the competition.

Public transport & Parking

You can reach Stadthalle Hofheim by public transportation. There are multiple bus stops just a few hundred meters walking distance.

There is parking outside and parking connected to the theatre but with payment.

Timetable

Four weeks prior to the competition, there will be a temporary time schedule available on the website.  This temporary time schedule can still change as the inscriptions are still open. The final time schedule will be available one week prior to the competition on the website. The timetable mentions the times the dancers need to be ready to go on stage. You can find on your subscription confirmation in which age division and style you participate.

For solos, duos & trios there is a dressing room available half an hour up front, for groups an hour up front. If you arrive earlier, please wait until the dressing room is free and also leave the dressing room in time for the next dancers.

There are multiple award ceremonies during the day so that the dancers can go home if they are not able to stay the whole day.
