The 1st qualifying event for Portugal 2025-2026 will take place at the Auditorio Francisco de Assis, Rua Amial 478, 4200-055 Porto, on Saturday 31 January 2026.

Tickets for the public can be purchased on the day of the competition at the main entrance or electronically in advance via this link . After purchasing online, the ticket will be saved in your account. You can have it scanned at the ticket office on the competition site and receive your entry badge. Make sure you buy your ticket for the exact day; tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

Food and drink

we operate our own coffee break in the building on the day of the competition. You can buy vouchers at the cash desk and use them to buy food and drink.

Please note that it is forbidden to eat in the theatre.

• Floor: The stage is covered with black dance flooring.

A few places are available for people with reduced mobility. Please let us know before the competition

If you are coming by car, there is free underground parking via Rua Cel. Almeida Valente n 495, or you can find one nearby.

Four weeks before the competition, a provisional schedule will be available on the website. This provisional schedule is subject to change as registrations are still open. The definitive schedule will be available one week before the competition on the website. It specifies the times at which the dancers must be ready to go on stage. You will find on your registration confirmation the age category and dance style in which you are taking part.

For solos, duos and trios, a dressing room is available half an hour in advance, and for groups one hour in advance. If you arrive earlier, please wait until the box is free and leave it in time for the next dancers.

There are several prize-giving ceremonies throughout the day so that dancers can go home if they cannot stay all day.
