Place, date & tickets

The 52th qualification match in Belgium for 2026 - 2027 will take place at the Achterolmen Cultural Center in Maaseik (Van Eycklaan 72, 3680 Maaseik) on Sunday, May 16, 2027.

Tickets can be purchased electronically in advance via this link. After purchasing your ticket online, you will receive your tickets by email. You can have them scanned at the ticket desk on the day of the competition, after which you will receive your entrance wristband. On the day itself, tickets at the ticket desk are cash only (no Bancontact or Payconiq available).

Food & drinks
The brasserie in the building is open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. You can go there to get something to eat or drink.

Please note that eating or drinking is never allowed inside the theater hall itself.

Info about the stage

• Measurements: 10m wide and 10m long.

• Floor:  The stage floor exists of black painted parquet covered with black ballet floor.

Access for disabled people

There are a couple of seats available for wheelchairs. Please contact us prior to the competition.

Public transport & Parking

Cultuurcentrum Achterolmen is only 200 m away from the bus station Maaseik Van Eycklaan. You can park at the parking of Cultuurcentrum Achterolmen.

Timetable

Four weeks prior to the competition, there will be a temporary time schedule available on the website.  This temporary time schedule can still change as the inscriptions are still open. The final time schedule will be available one week prior to the competition on the website. The timetable mentions the times the dancers need to be ready to go on stage. You can find on your subscription confirmation in which age division and style you participate.

For solos, duos & trios there is a dressing room available half an hour up front, for groups an hour up front. If you arrive earlier, please wait until the dressing room is free and also leave the dressing room in time for the next dancers.

There are multiple award ceremonies during the day so that the dancers can go home if they are not able to stay the whole day.
